Conference: Transforming the Future of Biology Education Through Virtual Labs
October 30 @ 9:00 am - 6:30 pm
About the Conference
The current conference is the culmination of our Erasmus+ partnership project, showcasing the transformative impact of virtual laboratories (VLs) on Biology education and STEM learning. The event aims to bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, and technology developers to discuss key findings, share best practices, and explore the future of virtual tools in education.
The conference will feature a blend of expert presentations, discussions, and hands-on workshops, making it a highly interactive and engaging experience. Key topics include identifying gaps in education addressed by VLs, exploring the Common Biology Curriculum, the innovative use of virtual patients in education, and the policy landscape surrounding virtual labs.
Participants will also have the opportunity to attend workshops on implementing VLs in classrooms and beyond, as well as a practical session to explore the VHEalthLab platform. We invite you to join us at UNESCO, where we’ll shape the future of STEM education through innovation, accessibility, and collaboration.
